To determine the appropriate Inside Mount Window Width, measure the top, middle, and bottom of your window recess, then use the narrowest width as the window width. To find the Window Length, measure the exact window-recess length at the left, middle, and right side, and use the longest height as the window length. The Window Depth should be a minimum of 2 inches.

When ordering, choose a width that is 1/4 inch smaller than the measured window width, and a length that is the same or longer than your window length.

For an Outside Mount, determine the location where the Roman shade will be placed, ensuring a minimum of 7/8 inches of flat mounting space above the window to accommodate the hardware. Choose a Roman blind width that is the same or greater than the window width, and we recommend adding 3-6 inches to the measured width to maximize light control and privacy. Measure the exact length from the top of the proposed headrail location to the base of the sill (or where you would like the window Roman blind to drop), and add 8-10 inches to the length for optimum light control and privacy.

When ordering, select a width that is the same or wider than the product width, and a length that is the same or longer than your measured length.
